Backstory

I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, and am proud to call it home today.

After graduating college, I attended the San Francisco Baking Institute to further my education and continue my love for baked goods.

While in school, my mother and I started to plan and execute the opening of our first restaurant in Spokane.

While working, the most handsome man became a regular customer, and I quickly convinced him we should get married and have lots of babies. We have been happily married for 12 years.

I am mama to the three most beautiful babies Grace, Jack, and Georgia. Someday’s I think I need them more than they need me. They fill my heart up.

One year ago decided to take a leap and launch my blog. I have always loved to create. It has made me realize how important it is for me to have this outlet and set goals for myself.  The blog is based around home and lifestyle. I showcase my favorite easy meals, diy decor, and hosting ideas. We all live busy lives, and I want to help women see that things are not as hard as they look and that they can do it with some tips and tricks. I also try to be as transparent as I can be. Yes, the picture I posted is beautiful, but it took my nanny to watch the babies, 2 hours to set up, and then my house in shamble for three days until I can put it all away!

I have been blessed to have an amazing support group of women in Spokane who have taught me so much and have truly guided me into the woman I am today. Because of them, I have learned that taking care of myself should not be pushed to the back burner. It’s a hard lesson to learn, and at times it feels impossible to fit that kind of time. I am a better wife and mother when I make sure that I am also taken care of. It’s ok to take that time.

The things I do that help me recharge are running, creating, bubble baths, and quality time with loved ones.

The most important things I have learned thus far in life….

It’s time to stop caring what other’s think. Wear what you like, be silly, and dance. Don’t hide your true self; someday, you will see it’s the best you.

Communication is everything, knowing when to listen and when to speak.

You can never say I love you too much.

Experiences and time with people outweigh any gift you could buy.

You get what you put into things. If you want more, you need to pour more in!
