Episode 1: Seeking Freedom with Lis Thomas

Lis Thomas is a women’s advocate, writer, and brand strategist. She’s been working as a writer, author, and branding consultant for the past 10+ years and believes deeply in the power of words and the importance and positive impact of women working together.

Lis founded Womanhood Unwrapped in 2015, a blog and community training platform for women in their lives, careers, and relationships. She also partners with brands and agencies that work to promote and grow women-owned businesses. Earlier this year, Lis launched the Stages of She podcast with two co-hosts, Kristina Godfrey and Sara Strasbaugh. The podcast focuses on the different stages of women’s lives and how we can support each other through a variety of experiences and changes that arise in life. Lis writes regularly for her own blog and has been featured in a variety of publications, including Tiny Beans and Fairy Goddboss.

The devoted mom of two, Lis, her husband, and her kiddos live in Central Oregon and spend their free time road-tripping and camping around the Pacific Northwest, California, and other areas in the US known for their outdoor adventures. She’s a yoga devotee, lover of hiking and biking, and will usually say “yes” to a glass of wine, or cup of coffee, depending on the hour. Most of all, Lis cherishes being a working mom, supporting her family, and helping women along the way.
